Radi + WebGL
Radi is a HTML5 multimedia design app for the Mac. WebGL is a powerful 3D graphics interface that's available in many new browsers.
Now they're working together! In version 0.9, Radi has the unique capability to apply realtime visual effects to multimedia content on a web page, with the effect rendered in realtime on your graphics hardware (GPU) using WebGL.
You don't need to write any code to use WebGL. Effects are designed visually in drag'n'drop style with Radi's built-in Conduit visual effects system.
Have a look at these demos:
- WebGL filters on video
- WebGL filters on a HTML5 Canvas animation
- WebGL filters on a live webcam image
(This example requires a WebRTC compatible browser.
For now, only Google Chrome Canary has this capability enabled by default.)
For more details, see Radi 0.9 release notes.
